hi, i'm whitney.

I'm a native Texan with short stints living in LA, San Francisco, Uganda, and Republic of Congo. When I was a child, I picked up a camera and never put it down. However, I spent most of my early and collegiate life acting and learning the art of storytelling. I have a Theatre Degree and Film Concentration from the University of Texas, and began my Masters of Photography at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. However, 7 months into my studies on the West Coast I met the most handsome and humble airline pilot who swept me off my feet. Nine months later we were married and I moved back to Austin to start my wedding photography business. Two years into marriage, my husband and I started an orphan care advocacy nonprofit called The Archibald Project, quit our day jobs, and have lived a very unconventional life ever since.
We adopted our 3 children in 2018, lived in their home country for 7 months, finalized the process and moved back to Austin. Shortly after arriving home, we traded in our hip city life for the hill country and moved out to Dripping Springs.
When I'm not formulating strategies and creating art you can find me with friends who are like family, enjoying a good meal or forcing my cat to cuddle  ;)

In my work with The Archibald Project, I've learned that  in order to run a successful business, it's not enough to just be an expert in your service, you also have to be a clever content creator, know how to build a strategic website, take beautiful photos, shoot captivating video, and make engaging social media posts all so your audience can hopefully see and understand the importance of your business.

This is where I come in!
I help small businesses grow their brand awareness through content creation, strategic social media and thoughtful web design.

But as a small business owner your time will always be better spent doing what you love and are good at: running your business!
